The Ukraine part of our journey has come to an end as Natasha and Sasha are now home safe and sound in California. Dreams can become reality as is the wonderful story with these two beautiful children. We are so happy to have them as a part of our family and look forward to the next part of our journey together.

We want to thank all of you who have taken the time to follow our story of adoption. We have decided to keep this blog and update it every so often with news of Natasha and Sasha and the story of their new life.

It's so wonderfull to see all of this come to fruition, and in a very small way for Carol and I to feel a part of it.

The two of you are now four and the world is so much richer for it. We are really looking forward to seeing you both again and meeting the kids for the first time. Happy Holidays!

Happy New Year and New Life to all =) we are excited to come out and see you tomorrow...I love the pics of the kids and they just look soooo happy, won't be needing any snow gear now living in Bermuda Dunes, eh ? Ha ! you can always go to the local mountains if the kids are missing the snow.....I can't believe I just saw them in ukraine in October,,,,dreams really do come true ! hi, we are in mariupol right now.. and we were just looking up stuff online and came across your blog... we also have a blog.. myokom.wordpress.com and we just wantd to say thanks for sharing your story.. i can't tell you how alone and lost we feel here.. everything is so different than in the US... and it was neat to see someone go through what we are going through.. we were wondering if your children already spoke english or not... our email is dever77@yahoo.com if you want to respond... our two children we picked are 2 and 4 and the 4 year old speaks russian and we were just wondering how to go about getting her to learn english.. any comments you have would be appreciated.. thank you... heidi
